Dentist at 1: prep for a crown.

The 4 live teeth I've had crowned didn't cause me any problems when done. I always ask for a bite block because I have a small mouth and it makes things easier.

Good Morning Y'all!
As Y'all know I have recently acquired 2 ducks (Don & Daizy DUCKS). Well, yesterday as I was refilling their pool I noticed she had laid 3 eggs. I carefully moved 2 eggs (no I didn't touch the eggs, I used a thin stick to move them) aways from the pool edge seeing how I knew she couldn't sit on them there and a few minutes ago while I had Savage potty I noticed she was sitting on them so my question is do I separate Don from her or just leave them together? How long does it take for a duck egg to hatch? Are they even suppose to lay/sit on eggs during the Winter months?
Btw- there's at least 1/2 pot of coffee already made

The Halloween cookie bowls (before I added Choc Chip cookies and PB balls that I had covered with colored white choc) for my (4) coworkers and Kevin's (32) co-workers.

Me on Halloween night. I did the entire makeup with just plain makeup but I have special effects makeup ( Halloween makeup 50% off last Sat at Walmart) for next year.

I had seen that broom advertised on TV but the price was outlandish and about a month ago I saw it on the As Seen on TV shelf at my local Family Dollar for only $15. It works like they said on the commercial. After I put it together I used it in the living room and couldn't believe the dirt pile I had especially after just using a broom s few minutes earlier.

I'm annoyed! They call me in and say "you're here for a standard checkup"????? Nope!!! Discussion when I set apptmt 3 wks ago -- prep for one crown! Now, not time allotted.. Another person then sets me up...11/15, one prep. 11/19 another prep. So 2 crowns will be done!!! On this yr insurance. Damn. 50 mile round trip for that. . I'll be sure both perms are there when I go back for final.

So she says, you're not scheduling the deep cleaning? NO. LAST one was $600 out of my pocket for 1/2 hour and really wasn't needed....no issues. No, not doing again.

At least insurance funds there for these crowns.

Now, think I'll make myself a hamburger...skipped lunch already.

What a huge inconvenience! I wonder how they so thoroughly dropped the ball?

I was not happy & made it known. I left with a print out of apptmts set for preps & insurance covering all. So doubt this will occur again. Front desk at fault.

I hate Gentle Dental. They were part of our Advantage insurance. We went to them. We wanted xrays and cleaning. OH NO!! They tried to get hubs to get a deep cleaning for $2200. Medicare advantage denied any coverage.
We went back to get a cleaning. NOPE. They refused to work on hubs unless he had that deep root cleaning. They refused to do my cleaning saying I needed a deep root cleaning.

Last week October something, they sent me a bill. From a March service for things that the insurance wouldn't cover . NOPE NOPE NOPE.

Yes, it is!! This "new" deep clean crap isn't normally needed but, ins won't pay -- dental groups make big bucks for little of nothing done. IMO it's to pay for the "hygienists" . They contract with ins to do certain work at a set price, that is less than charged non- insured patients. I'm just glad to push them

i don't even know what a deep cleaning is. the prices in the above messages make me cringe. there's no way i'd spend that much for a teeth cleaning. i just went a few weeks ago to have my teeth cleaned and it ran $125. they wanted to take x-rays but i declined that yet again. i even had to sign a paper saying i didn't want x-rays because it had been some time since the last ones, but i'm fed up with charges for things that aren't really doing much good or even really needed.
