My wife mentioned this is the thirtyish year anniversary of the big Mississippi ice storm. Her family was out of power for 2 weeks

I can't give enough thumbs up for that. Hubby was told it was mostly straight. Id love that. That's more than i was hoping for. The 46° hook sucked

Numbness starting to wear off. Still no need for the tylenol even. We'll see after it's fully gone.

Ice storms probably the worst part of winter. This winter has been particularly wet for us.

Good Morning everyone!
The snow hit my area earlier than what the news said it was going to. Now that it's getting light out I can see there is a dusting on the ground and on top of the car already. I just hope it doesn't get bad quickly seeing how H has to go in early this afternoon for snow duty. Yes, the Govenor and Vdot doesn't want unnecessary travel but he's an essential worker as he is a snow plow driver. As of 9:30 last night most of Central Va schools was already closed.
