Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

In other news, my washing machine is on the blink. It doesn't spin all the water out, so it starts the rinse/spin cycle all over again. Clothes are too wet to put in the dryer, not wet enough to wring out. I hang them on the line to dry enough to go in the dryer, but rains are not helping with that. Guess I'll be getting a new washing machine.

if you can find a good service to check it out it may be worth trying to fix, but after our last experience it's very hit or miss on how good the technicians are. even after multiple visits and calling for even more help even the most senior guy who trains the others still didn't get it until the third try (which was trip eight or so by then)... luckily it was all under the extended warranty, but it sure strained Mom's patience to a great extent (and thus my own because, well, you, know, drama...)

i say this because the older machines are much simpler and better in that they don't have so many things that break.

Have a great Day,,

FB and I mowed yesterday. You know midwest pressure says you're neighbors have 24 hours to respond. Neighbor to the north mowed their lawn this morning. Neighbor to the west is mowing their lawn now  that's all the neighbors I have.

FB says weather guesswork are saying rain later today and a chance of rain for the next 9 days :ep No one around here, including us has put in a in ground garden. Raised beds are ok, but it's been too wet to work the ground.

we had a bit of rain this morning. i would not have minded more... i am trying to lever my butt out of this comfy perch and just not getting enough oomph yet to do it. two hours of weeding might be my limit for the day - which assumes i'm actually going out there. it will be ok once i get going, i know this, i just like to grumple about it for a bit first...

It is 10 years old. I think if I start paying to get it fixed, I’d have a pretty good down payment on a new one. I got a new dryer last year. Electronics, the fancy digital stuff, even the simplest , just doesn’t last long. Give old fashioned KNOBS!

Garden work got done, DG had a cardiologist appointment so I went with him and picked up a few things.
We have started on the new wood shed build.
DH got the bracket holes dug- a line set and I held the bracket and packed the concrete as he put it in. A total of 12 for a five bay shed. 4 for wood and one for the log splitter and wood chipper.
We’ll get the posts in on Saturday.
I did not get the lavender bed border done.

We have had low clouds yesterday and cooler- no rain. And today darker clouds but still no rain.
Hard to believe it will be Friday already
