What a miserable night for sleep! I was at the 3am meeting and finally back to sleep about 4:30. Alarm at 6 just got up to stop the insanity. Had breakfast & extra coffee...went out to chores. A chilly 62 helped to get awake. Ordered truck wheel bearings on line. Hope they're correct when received, a change over yr truck, 1997 Went to town & returned the ones that didn't fit truck, only per their computer. It was 3rd store yesterday & if these don't fit, next option is sealed hub unit w/bearings, costing $140 vice $25. The hub is good, so,....WTH.

While in town, bought what's prob the very last I need for winter stockpile....flour, sugar, t-bags. I'm pretty well topped off. Got a bottle of wine to have after dinner. I want to sleep tonight! Ahhh, mailed a letter to my 94 y/o aunt at PO, too. We still correspond by mail

Maybe I will cut the yard here shortly.

Ahhhh....just had a lovely shower! Needed to wash the sweat & grass off of me. Finally got the yard cut. Dry. Cooler day, some breeze to blow the stuff around. DS had removed the grass catcher, but too high to use. I'll go over tmrw when it's dried. BUT as he removed the grass catcher parts he'd removed a week ago, we found where 4 hens were laying yeah 13 eggs. Had checked there Sat eve, along with several other places. The broody is in their usual spot....should hatch this weekend.

Getting some dinner going. Hope to sleep better tonight, job work tmrw. A glass of wine should make sleep happen!

Awoke to a brisk 57 outside and barely 70 in, open windows. Refreshing. Seems weather people got it right Today may reach 80 but all week it's mid 70 day & upper 50 nights. FALL is coming Hopefully thru Dec.

Again I'm seeing home all week Who knows. Labor Day weekend, so many will have an extra day at home.

Morning Y'all! I know I keep reappearing then disappearing for months on end. My wonderful H got promoted to OFFICIAL truck foreman a couple months ago so it's been crazy around here since then seeing how he's in charge of ALL the trucks so whenever a crew goes out of town he has to go with them. Been trying really hard to get our yard in order and lately I have been in a slump plus the days have been getting hot out really quick but now that it's finally cooling off and the humidity is beginning to lower I'm going to get into the habit of working outside again.
As of today my mind is getting into the Halloween spirit well to be honest I've been looking forward to Halloween ever since the 2nd of August.

a pic of 3 of my dogs. the one with the pink harness is my newest one. Her name is Karina, she'll be 9 months old on Sept 10th. Just getting the one (Rudy) on the back of the chair over his skin allergies and having a bad reaction to fleas and now Remie (the one laying next to Karina) has a skin allergy and ear infections in both ears.

Just got that last sat night from Walmart for $20. I haven't used it yet though as I don't have the ingredients to do so but as soon as I do I'll let Y'all know so you can come have a dish
