Roughly caught up, cool weather convinced me to start on fixing the driveway. 3.5 hours, exhausted.

The anti erosion mat they didn't install properly. Was like a big tabletop with drop offs on both top and bottom ends, plus no fill on the low side- they put 12+ inches of gravel to "fill and level". I pulled back the gravel, backfilled with dirt (8 inches in some places), and then covered with 4-5 inches of gravel. Mat is covered completely now on the redone stretch

Lots of gravel to move on the lower half to be able to attack it.

That looks good and you don't even have a grade stick on your bucket.

Tank and I are ripping up trees from where they needed dirt for the barn foundation and left a hole. Lots of trees to pull up from the low spot on the corner of the orchard. Some of the trees are pretty big, so I'll have to chainsaw those ones. But I'll save that for then it's cooler outside. Ac in the cab of the tractor is nice.

We need dirt for low spots in the orchard, top off raised beds, low spots here and there, etc... so that's what we did. I'm just going to keep on pulling trees and digging... it's free wood and dirt 😀
