I use a heated mattress cover, have for years. Since I still work -- with some physical lifting & stretching -- my morning get up has a few "by the bed" stretches to loosen up the back & sides, get the muscles awake. Winters have me doing a little more since work is slack. Plus, Winters have me lifting a lot of hay bales!! I try to keep everything stretched out and in use because it does help you stay younger! Well, in the sense of movement.

Then, there's always a little goat wrangling to deal with...keeps you aware of staying agile :old

This morning get up had more sunshine out already -- still chilly at 36* out there. 😵‍💫

I need to get hubby doing daily stretches. He should be able to manage that.

Dogs are doing ok. Just got to get Ares to get rid of the diarrhea. Hermes returned mostly to normal yesterday. Blood work for next few weeks. But looks like they are in the minority and should be ok.

Coffee is yum this morning! Up at 5am. Body hasn't adjusted to new time yet - oh well. It's not like I'm on any type of schedule. Go to bed when I'm tired and get up when I can't sleep anymore.

Texans lost yesterday in the last 3 seconds of the game. They fought hard! Our quarterback went out with a concussion. I'm more worried about him than the outcome of the game.

Haven't been here is quite awhile. Just been doing BYH and that's all. I veered off somewhere into LaLa Land. Past 3 months Ive been on a dead run for my ex sister in law. She lost a leg above the knee, to diabetes complications 3 months ago. Her son, DIL and babies have been in south Florida, where he's been working. They moved camper to Texas a few weeks ago, but he's working 7 days a week. They blasted in for the surgery, built her a ramp and got her an electric wheelchair for the house, then had to go back to work. I've been doing everything for her, but we are on the downhill slide now. She starts Physical Therapy today, 3 times a week, through November to teach her how to walk on her prosthetic leg. It's a 100 mile trip from my house to hers, to Lufkin for the many doctor appointments, then back again home. It's usually an all day deal with 1-5 appointments a week, picking up grocery orders, and whatever else she needs. Almost done, and she will be able to take care of herself. I'm tired, but I'm glad I was here to help her. Got to get outside and get chores done and go pick her up.
