Unfortunately, the lake effect cloud deck prevented any aurora viewing here last night. Friends in western Ohio saw nature's full beauty and got cool photos

It was right over my head, very nice! Looked like aliens had punched a hole through the sky...or a giant butthole, take your pick.
I couldn't get a good photo of that... but from that center spot it went out rainbow like in 2 directions, one right over the church.
