all these years of walking in blizzards and i still haven't got any snow goggles... i keep telling myself every year to get some but it hasn't happened yet.

@flowerbug I wouldn't need any -- nope ! First yr of that and I'd be outta there. 
The older I get the more I despise even a little. Just a postcard admirer of the white stuff. The little extra here this yr was so inconvenient for feed/water chores. No livestock & I could stay inside & complain to wait it out but, that's not where life has me.
Yesterday the little bit we got Sunday had melted by afternoon. The cold hung around but should warm up in a day or two. Normal winter temps now. Keep telling myself, it's still February -- still winter!
Can't wait for green pastures! Coming soon

Up early to change DH's insulin delivery pod. No going back to bed after all that activity. Coffee helps! Cold overnight but hoping that's the last of it. Let's be honest here - I hope EVERY cold snap is the last one!

we had a bit of snow last night, but with a few days coming of forecasts above 40F and maybe even 50F it won't stick around that long. some nights coming up though still in the teens.
