Awake at 4:30 and not happy about it, lol. No sense in staying in bed when sleep isn't happening. Coffee is a lifesaver this morning.

Did something yesterday I rarely do. Was at the deli in the local grocery store, interrupted a conversation between the supervisor and a worker about another worker getting disciplined and how he needs to be fired, with all the backstory. The supervisor waited on me, I got my order fine. Problem is, after she politely interacted with me (three separate items), each time she turned around and while slicing my request, launches back into her story retelling (with names).

On my way out, I complained to the on duty store manager. She acted aghast at the behavior and assured me the behavior was not professional and against store policy. Thanked me and said it would be addressed that day.

Gosh, I woke to 65* this morning. Had a fast, 1/4 rain shower mid afternoon that cooled us back down to 67* now.... I'm sorry Alaska! But it IS Alaska...snow happens. I mean, there's the Iditarod & all that right?

High 70s yesterday, snow flurries this morning.

And the garage door opener stopped working. Less than 2 years old. Ugh

Days upper 60s & low 50 nights this week. Fine. Warmer next week -- when I'm hoping to work up the garden.
