Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Was 36F here this morning before sunrise. We had a chest freeze go out and didn't catch it in time before every thing in it defrosted. I used the tractor and slid it into the dumpster contents and all.

ThIs morning at 3:00AM, based on my clock, the neighborhood awoke to the sound of it hitting the garbage truck bed. Apparently we are the first pick up because that freezer hit a empty bed with a very loud bang.

Hi neighbors, yes it's because of me you are awake now, and all the dogs are barking, sorry about that.

High 70s yesterday, snow flurries this morning.

And the garage door opener stopped working. Less than 2 years old. Ugh

Not sure what I actually did. Puttered around with it. Working okay now.

Thanks for asking. It was mostly chicken and pork - our smallest chest freezer, so not much lost, really. But that’s just life on this side of the firmament: things happen, and Lord willing, we wake up to live another day. Last night was awesome - windows cracked open, breeze drifting in… awesome nights

Eyes wide open at 4:30 this morning, 90 minutes ago. Made bacon and eggs (bacon was a reheat from the freezer), clowder fed, litter robot emptied, just put the second load of the morning in the washer. Third cup of coffee in process.

Low blood sugar alert popped my eyes open this morning. DH sleeps through all alarms....sigh. Got him squared away and working on the first cup here.

DH has a big dental appt later this morning. Better him than me!
