45 feet is 540 inches. So every 8 inches.

540/8= 67.5*2(number of seeds per hill)=135 (plants per row)*2 (ears per stalk)=270 (ears per row)*6(number of rows)= 1620 ears. I think I did it right.
just checking -- is that 2 seeds per hill supposed to allow thinning half if them? Or you KEEP two per hill?

If you're going to thin your yield would be 1/2 that ... ?
