Well to find out the country of origin you have to use a different search engine like dogpile.com search "nest hub max country of origin"

I scrolled through the first couple of pages on google and nothing popped out but a bunch of ads that said nothing about "nest hub max country of origin"

Looks to me like Nest hub max country of origin = CN (China). Yeah I really want one now - NOT!

we're way past the concerns expressed in that book. Orwell had no idea just how invasive Big Brother can get. Next step is automatically chipping all children with GPS, if they aren't already doing it and not telling us.

There are tech companies that are chipping their employees. It is voluntary - at least for now. The chip allows them to open doors with having to use a key, log-onto their computers, buy snacks at the vending machine, and other stuff.
They are starting to work on GPS chips, touted for use with Alzheimer and dementia patients.
