we're way past the concerns expressed in that book. Orwell had no idea just how invasive Big Brother can get. Next step is automatically chipping all children with GPS, if they aren't already doing it and not telling us.

They are already suggesting chipping folks with dementia. And the first time they manage to locate a missing child using chipped GPS...

Oh yeah, a gullible, uneducated public will welcome it as the next best thing since Alexa. Never get lost again with a built in GPS chip. Never have someone steal your identity or money, b/c you have a chip that will act as instant on line banking anywhere in the world. Revelation 13:17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
