I found out some interesting things about myself the past week.

I'm a possible terrorist threat because I'm a vet.

I have brain damage because I'm conservative.

Oh boy. Looks like the world is in big trouble now. What does it mean if you are an Independant? Or a right leaning Democrat or a left-leaning Republican? I guess either way I have brain damage. Oh well. So do my children. At least Abigail does. That would explain why she doesn't listen.

My current job is labor intensive and hard on my body. I've had tendinitis in my elbow since September. It doesn't want to heal. I build trails in a national forest.

Pay increase will be substantial. Three paygrades with another two paygrades in about a year and a half.

As far as self reliance. I would like to have a real house and some money saved for a rainy day. Self reliance is a lifestyle that takes time and time is something I won't have as long as I have a full time paying job.

Sorry, I needed a giggle and your post provided it. I'm glad you enjoyed your smoked duck. I've never actually eaten duck in my 45 years. I'm just getting to a point that I can eat my ducks' eggs. :/

Duck is something I never acuired a taste for. Glad you enjoyed it. I have never tried it smoked so may have to give it one more try.

I inhaled a little when I was adding water to the smoker.

Duck is good, all dark meat with lots of flavor but not too much flavor.
