Dacjohns--Changes

Hey, Dac....been trying to find ya on facebook.......:D

Sorry to hear you lost your post, I hate when that happens. I think your article should be about the decision your trying to make. Balancing the SS life you want with family and work. Maybe we could all learn how to do it from you!!

Your to do list is really long. Are these all things your working on or still need to do? Wow, I am overwhelmed just reading it.

One step at a time...

I don't want to sell but we might eventually decide to do so.

Selling 100 acres with a pond, building, and adjoining national forest could bring us a nice chunk of change. It has electricity, municiple water, natural gas.

Gina,

Most of that list is things that are in progress, started but not yet finished.

Checking off the list.
Done so far today, I admit, my wife did the high work.

Cleaned spark arrester on the chimney.
Cleaned leaves out of the gutters.
Replaced fixture for flood light above the garage.
Filled bird feeders.
Raked leaves off the front walk.

Shucks, none of that stuff is on the list.

Things to add to the list.

Put new litter in coop.
Get some of our chickens back from our niece.
Burn brush piles.
Go bow hunting before the season ends.
Make bread.
Make tortillas.
Keep up with the everyday stuff.
Pack my work gear away before the new season starts.
Get home office organized with shelving and other things.
Scan pictures going back to 1972 or maybe even earlier, comes under family history.
Have fun, don't get bogged down with accomplishing the to do list.
Make sweet potato dish for church Christmas program Friday.
Watch all the movies in our Netflix queue.

When does it ever end?

Plan for today. Start on making some more deer jerky.

It isn't even on the list.
