Dacjohns--Changes

I bet it's feels good to be home. Yummy on the banana bread. I made zucchini muffins a couple days ago. Zucchini that I grew and froze. I should do banana as well. Every time open the freezer door they jump out at me. :barnie

Great job on the wood.

I want a wood burning stove....just have no idea where I would install it. My house is just too darn tiny. : pout pout :

Am now inspired to bake something... I'm thinking Pumpkin muffins with Cream Cheese Filling since I have everything on hand and I can use some of my home canned pumpkin.

We want a woodburning stove too and we know EXACTLY where we will put it. However, I fear we will only use it here 3 days of the year and with the doors & windows wide open to boot :lau I don't care - there is something about the warmth & crackle of a good fire that is therapeutic & comforting. I couod use some of that these days!

Welcome home, Dacjohns. There's no place like it, is there?

Wood stove? You don't have a chiminea on the patio?

No patio, no chiminea, just a firepit almost right in the center of our acre that we use when we have time & if it's not too hot or too windy

Lost a chicken today, one that was laying. A canine or bobcat took it and all we have found are feathers and tracks in the melting snow.

That's life in the country when you let your birds run around the yard during the day.
