Dacjohns--Changes

From my get to know you quiz.

36. What book are you reading now: I'm not but I recently read The Shape Shifter by Tony Hillerman. Add Tony Hillerman to my books list.
I'm now reading Lucifer's Hammer. It is a science fiction novel by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. It is about a comet hitting the earth and the struggles to survive afterwards.

It makes some very good points about being prepared and is a pretty character study in addition.

All of our SHTF threads have nothing on this.

With winter weather here there are some things we often ignore in our quest to be prepared for winter utility outages.

Survival gear in your car.
God point Dac's. What type of stuff obviously depends on where you live but the basics are all the same.

Those cookies look great.
