No kidding, DH and I were out at 11 last night diverting the gully wash going behind the new barn. That's all I need, the barn to wash away.

Milked tonight and my one "runny" goat seemed better, not as "runny". I don't know if I will get this milking down. :/

Don't get discouraged! You will get it, and when you do it'll be second nature!

I was so frustrated the first couple times I was ready to cry. Keep trying! It gets better. They told me to "punch" the udder because one of my two wasn't LETTING me have the milk and that helped.

I also just kept trying and it is gradually getting better each time.

I wish I had a video for you of the first time. We had milk all over the room but none in the container. I was thinking I had been crazy to get goats that day.

Today it went so much better (again) I cannot believe it.

My shirt sleeves were soaked. I kept getting it straight down my sleeve.

You're not supposed to use your sleeves to strain it.

I am exausted!! I milked this morning and didn't get much. The goat with the "issue" is better. Her bum was clean, no drool.

I have to work today till 12, boy, it is going to be the longest 3 hours ever.

The milkstand gets made today. That should help.
