On Friday DH and I went up to the bug out spot to mark out the property lines. It was the first time I have seen it without snow. Tons of wildlife. I heard grouse, turkey and other animals I have yet to identify. There where big fern and little fern. Every kind of moss I new of here in New England and, "Hey Honey, what is this pretty little vine. I have never seen it before?" Poison Oak!!!! Never seen poison oak. I knew it wasn't poison ivy so it didn't occur that poison oak was an issue. Well the huge rash on my arm tells another story. :barnie First time for this, at 40 no less..... :barnie

Any tips to make the itch go away????

I always used calamine lotion. Poison oak is pretty, isn't it?

Leaves of three, let it be.

And let the goats clean the vines out for you :)

I know the saying about 3 leaves..... I just didn't think.

I do have a honking aloe plant, thanks. Didn't think of that either. I have lamb brain. All I think about is Esther. She is so cute, I get lost...... :P

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound condescending. But I was a girl scout leader in southern california so lines like "leaves of three, let it be" roll out of my mouth without me thinking.

Now NETTLES doesn't have three leavea and it sure stings so that little saying isn't always so darn useful!

I didn't take it condescending.....

Well hopefully your goats will clear it out for you, you still have them, right?
