You are sure having some challenges, and while they will pass I know that doesn't help a lot when you're experiencing them!

Sure hope things resolve for you soon - and exactly the way you want them to. :hugs

Hm, sounds like I should get a couple of turkeys when I pick up my chicks ...

I hope everything works out well with the baby.
:weeefor your son. I hope things continue to go well with him. I have nephews and cousins with those sorts of issues and I know how hard it is on the moms. :hugs Stay strong.

I went into labor minutes after posting last night. 9 hours later we were ready to go to the hospital and it stopped suddenly. I'm terrified of going to the hospital. (I've had 14 really bad experiences in L&D in 4 different hospitals. Trust me, "informed consent" is NOT alive and well.) Guess what... adrenaline from fear/anxiety stops labor. This is the third time in the last week it's gotten to the "time to go to the hospital" point and then stopped suddenly as soon as that decision is made.

:hit

My OB is pushing for an induction in the next week for a diagnosis he has not re-confirmed, and a diagnosis for which research does not show a benefit to baby. Not to mention the estimated due date is 4 - 7 days too early, but apparently doctors are in denial that conception date has anything to due with the due date! :he :barnie

ARGH! I know you are ready for this thing to be OVER- but when the baby is ready - not just on the doc's timetable!

Prayers that it works out the way you want it to. :hugs

i can remember when babies were born when they were ready and not at the doctors convenience. prayers that the baby waits for the midwife, she accepts you and all goes well. and I'm so tickled that DS is doing so much better.

I'm so glad we didn't give up on the eggs in the incubator! DH candled them all last night. There were about 5 not developed. He was frustrated with not being able to see well and not trusting the pictures we found online, so he broke open an egg. THERE WAS A LIVE CHICK IN IT. :ep He killed it quickly. It was both funny and really-not-funny shocking at the same time! We have 27 developing eggs in there, due for hatching in the next week. Now I get the phrase "don't count your chickens before they hatch"!

Either labor or false labor starting up this morning for me. I have my OB appointment with all the testing again scheduled for this afternoon. Maybe Baby will get on with this and be born before the appointment? ;) LOL

12 hours of contractions every 4 - 5 minutes today. My OB is getting seriously pushy about inducing. He wanted me to go directly to the hospital today! Seriously, I'm 39 weeks, 1 dy... average pregnancy is 40 wks + 5 days, AND the due date is absolutely 100% for sure 4 - 7 days too early. So I'm not even considering induction as an option for 2 more weeks. Pretty sure I won't still be pregnant then. Dilated to 4 cm now. Grandma picked up DS and the dog. I'm trying to rest. Very frustrated I can't sleep. I've had about 1 hour break from contractions now.
