Hunting season is over for my family. DH got an 8 point buck. He is getting it taxidermied. 3 deer in the freezers - they are packed! I need to check for meat dated 2020 - we just finished up some from 2019. We didn't harvest lamb this year, so the venison should last just over a year. I want to can some meat so I have more wiggle room in my freezers.
Busy few days and then I can focus on cleaning. We might get a mess of snow on Tuesday, so maybe I'll can and clean then?
