So, yesterday, we had dinner with extended family here.
FIL called one of his daughters at the time she was driving over here, and talked to her for a bit. She told him of our dinner plans, and who all was going to be here.
He did not call the other daughter.
Just now, over 24 hours later, he called here, asking to speak to the second daughter.
I told him that she was not here, but had been here last night.
There was a pause, and then he laughed a bit.
Then he told me that he thought he had just talked to the first daughter while she was driving here, and decided to call here to say hi to the other one.

Now, he has had the habit over the last couple years of always asking the same questions every time he calls.
Stuff that is old news and such.
For example, he can never remember that we had had several broody hens already, baby chicks all over, and eggs coming out our ears.
We have been concerned, but now that concern is ramped up.

They are coming here for 6 weeks starting in June, so we will be observing things rather closely.

I'd be suspicious. Often the symptoms are worse in the evening. :(

:( You'll know when he's there. Alz runs big time in my husband's family. Such a sad disease. But they have medication now to help delay symptoms if it's diagnosed early.

"After two weeks of taking coconut oil, Steve Newport's results in an early onset Alzheimer's test gradually improved says his wife, Dr. Mary Newport. Before treatment, Steve could barely remember how to draw a clock. Two weeks after adding coconut oil to his diet, his drawing improved. After 37 days, Steve's drawing gained even more clarity. The oil seemed to "lift the fog," his wife says."
