Well, yes and no. It was to be continued for a very good reason. I was beat, and falling asleep. I'd be asleep now, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
I had taken my laptop w/me to the farm. My plan was to make a cup of coffee and relax while drinking it and messing on the computer. There's a very small piece on the end of the plug, maybe 2 inches long. W/out this, I cannot plug it in. When I was packing up, I dropped it and didn't realize it until I went to plug it in this morning. So, that meant I couldn't get on this morning.
It was too early to feed the horses, and I can't eat that early in the morning. Instead, I decided to put up some more of the electric. But first, I had to take down the stuff that KN had put up. I don't know if it was the stuff she put up, the charger or what, but it's never worked properly. And in places, it was torn down. So, I went ahead and took it all down. Then, I put up the new stuff. There's one spot where w/the way the fence is, I couldn't put it up right. But since that's in a corner, I just cut across it for now. When I finish the fence, I'll put it up the rest of the way. I got done w/it, and fed the horses. That meant there was just one more spot to put it up, from the gate in front of my tack shed down the fence that separates the 2 fields, and into Honey's stall. I did that after they ate. And, I checked it all, and it works!

I'm just not sure exactly how much of a charge it's getting since this is just a small battery operated charger. I normally use it for camping, but I have another one, so as long as this works, I'll use it until I have a chance to put up my solar one.
I only had a very short pole in the ground. Again, this is one that I use for camping. Last year, I had gotten one since I had planned on putting up the solar charger, just never got the chance. I had even talked to KN about it when she had planned on working on the fence. (I had suggested that she put up the solar charger. Needless to say, it didn't happen.) But, I couldn't find it when I was putting up the electric. I was able to find it this morning, so I put it in the ground. But, the one bolt on the clamp was all rusted. I sprayed it, and still couldn't get it loose. So that meant a run to TSC to get a new one.
I had planned on having French toast for breakfast. I get it all mixed up-and can't find any syrup. I had one piece already made. So, I ate that but turned the rest of the mix into scrambled eggs. So that w/coffee was my breakfast. I ate it in front of my tack shed while I watched my horses.
Because of all the dogs at the meeting last night, I stepped in dog poop sometime last night.

So this morning, I went out w/my manure fork, and picked up dog poop. I wasn't too happy about that and can hardly wait until everything is done enough so that I can put up a fence around "my" area. Unless and until I get my own dog, there will be no dogs allowed in there!
I then get everything all cleaned up and put or packed away. KN had left her bag chair out. I left it there. I'm tired of picking up after her. I go to TSC, get what I need, and go home. Since there was a chance for rain, I got my clothes off the line-just in time. It started to rain 5 minutes later.
Hubby wanted to go out so, we go. He had heard about a Habitat for Humanity store in a nearby town. Not only do we find the store, but we also find out they're having a craft show. We were disappointed in the store. It was basically just a thrift store, and not what we were expecting at all. From there, we walk down the street a bit, and go to the craft show. There was a beek there. I had wanted to talk to him, but there were too many people around. There was someone doing some spinning. I talked to her for a bit. She had some "wool" made from banana leaves. I find a guy w/homemade soap. There's one that I liked the scent of-raspberry. So, I bought a bar. ($3.00) They had a stand where they were making "tornado taters". They looked interesting, so we got one to split. ($4.00) It was good, but we won't buy one again. I can probably make them on my apple slicer, I'll just have to play w/ it a bit.
From there, we go to the Amish market in another town. We won't go to this one again! First off, there's a million red lights in town and they don't have any signs up where you can see them so you know what lane you need to be in. It's painted in the street right as you get to the light. So, people find themselves in the wrong lane. Then, we weren't exactly sure where it was located. We wanted to turn down the street B4 it so we could park in the back. We didn't see it until too late to turn. So, we park in front. There's a lot of 1 way streets in the area, and trying to get to the back wouldn't have been worth it. We go in. It's on the lower floor of this building, which meant steps. I don't know what it was about these stairs, but something about them affected my vertigo. By the time we got to the bottom, I was dizzy! And, the place was packed. I felt about like a salmon swimming upstream trying to get thru. Plus, it was noisy. We were both glad to get out of there. From there, we went to Harbor Freight, then Foreman Mills. We were also glad to get out of Foreman Mills. I think some of the people in there belonged in the People of Wal-Mart photos. From there we go home.
By now, it's around 3:30. I check my eggs, go feed the animals and head to the farm. I feed Stormy, check on my chickens, and put the new clamp on my grounding rod. Then I head home. I turn on my computer and try to get caught up. Didn't happen. I was beat. I figured I'd take a short nap. I slept for 3.5 hours, and the only reason I got up then was because my hubby woke me up. I'm ready to go back to sleep now, so I guess I won't get all caught up on posts now, it will have to wait.
