Today was not a good day weather wise. It was cloudy and dreary w/some light rain at times. Barometric pressure was down, and my ears were really hurting. I couldn't figure out what was up. Then, this evening, it all made sense.
At some point in time, the rain started to come down steadier. But then, it started to thunder and lightening. The rain got heavier, and I heard some sleet. Then, I REALLY started to hear the sleet. So, I flipped on the back light and looked out. We had pea sized hail! We don't get hail around here. In fact, I can only remember having hail a few times b4, and never at this time of year. So glad I didn't have anything coming up in the garden-except some rhubarb. So, I didn't lose anything.

We had bad storms too. Rainy. Lightening. Thunder. Hail. Everything is bloomed out Im afraid it may get froze out were supposed to be 30 twice this week.

Just got a call from my boss. She fell off of a horse and broke her hip, and will need an operation. RU is in the hospital, she had a hip replacement on Tuesday. My boss wasn't in a room when she called me. RU didn't have a room mate when I stopped in to visit her. Wonder if they'll end up in the same room. So, it looks like I'm going to be extra busy for the next few weeks.

Oh, no! broken hip? That sounds horribly painful. When it rains, it pours?

She was supposed to be going away next week. Now, she won't be able to. And, she broke her other hip a few years ago.savingdogs said:

RU has now left the hospital and has gone to a rehab place. It's close, only about 3 or 4 miles from the farm. So, as long as I take some clean clothes w/me, I should be able to visit her.
