Denim Deb Hay, hay, hay. Thank the Lord!

Whether I feel like it or not, I need to get wood this afternoon. They're calling for snow tonight, so if I don't get it now, I may not be able to get in the woods for a couple of days.

Good luck - hope you get all you need! It's hard for me to imagine snow when we're hitting mid 70's every day.

We are suposed to get rain again....as if we need it :P When we NEED it, we won't get it this summer

Hubby called this morning. He's having car problems, so we might just have to share the truck for a few days. If he needs the truck tomorrow, I'll have to drive him to work, go to the farm, then to the allergist, then pick him up, then go to the chiropractor's. Ugh, not looking forward to it.

That is exactly why I loved having 3 vehicles! We had an old Chevy 1/2 ton P/U that just sat until we needed it. We'd slap temp plates/ins. on it then, and use it. It was my favorite vehicle, but was a bit of a gas sucker. My brother needed a vehicle badly, so we decided to part with it :( I still miss it, especially when one or the other vehicle goes down and I am left without one!
Are you going to be able to still get wood today, or is that out now? Bummer if it is. :/

I loved having three vehicles too - but my son's truck broke down and guess what happened to MY extra truck? And, the ungrateful little so and so wouldn't come help when the tractor broke - I think it's time for me to get my truck back!

When we have a vehicle break down, I'm always the one to suffer the loss. Last year, it was my son's car. I don't know how many days I drove my bike-even when it was colder than I like it to be for riding, or windier. But, he was able to do a temp fix, so at least for now, it looks like my truck is safe. If it does go, he's been told he'll have to drop me at the farm in the morning. There's no way I can't go. If I don't, my animals would not be cared for properly.

Well, I got another truck load of wood in and got some of it cut up and in the basement. The rest is covered w/a tarp. I should get the rest of that cut up on Wednesday and Thursday. And, if they're calling for a lot of rain on Friday, I'll have to get another load. I'm ready for spring!

Thankfully I have good neighbors i can get a ride with at a moments notice. i had to today to take my truck to the shop. I can't stand being without a vehicle!!! Glad he got it temporarily worked out!

I WAS a sleep. DS just called. He's out of fuel and his house is cold. And, he has no money. Now it's going to take me awhile to get back to sleep. At least I don't have to go to work in the morning.

So.....he called and woke you up just to tell you he was cold? :/
