I make rice milk eggnog.
Because I make my own rice milk I can control how thick I want it.
All I add is vanilla and lots of freshly grated nutmeg. The trick is to chill for a few hours before drinking.

QA, I do not have a recipe but yes, I do love and make my own eggnog. I just use as many eggs as I think I need to then add cream, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla to taste. Whip it, whip it good, LOL. hee hee hee, forgot sugar.

Egg Nog is a great beverage! If you use eggs you need to use alcohol as it cooks the eggs for you & in this process the alcohol then is not a problem, all you have left is the taste of it. Here is my grandmother's recipe:

12 eggs, seperated
12 TBSP whiskey
1 pint of whipping cream
1 1/3 cups sugar, divided
nutmeg
beat yolks, pour the whiskey over the eggs & mix. Beat egg whites stiff. Whip whipping cream & mix cream, egg whites & 1 cup sugar. Add 1/3 cup sugar to yolks & pour over cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg to taste. At this point you may then add more whiskey to taste if that is how you like it.

Enjoy!

Store bought is okay, but nothing beats homemade. I was thinking I might make some this yr again as I haven't made it for a few yrs.
