After those promising sounding emails... nothing Didn't show up, didn't call, didn't let us know anything.

Our tenants sound serious though and the good agent has someone from Italy interested now, so we wait and see...

I'm getting fed-up, to be honest.

Good news is property prices in Co Cork are finally dropping and I'm starting to feel hopeful that I'll find the right property there in my price range

goatgurl, hurry up and wait this side. The agents are both quiet, the enquiries... one guy wanting to know what our crime rate here is LOL Still thinking how to respond to that, if I'm honest we won't see him again

We spoke to our tenant again yesterday evening. He is very keen on buying, but needs his son to help come up with the money. From what he told us the son will have no problem getting a loan. He's coming here after the 15th, when he's on vacation.

In the meantime the other buyers who messed the agent around so much said they are coming on the 8th... I'm not holding my breath here. I suspect the agent may have been a bit rude to them, from what he told me and I suspect he's putting off buyers.

Sumi, I really hope this settles out for you soon. We have a saying here in Texas that I think applies to your situation,

THEY NEED TO PEE OR GET OFF THE POT!
