    Hey everyone!

Today I am unfortunately at work but my girlfriend has just let me know that our duck egg is hatching as we speak! The first pip was about an hour or so ago and now I am sitting here patiently waiting for updates lol!
As soon as I receive any pics or updates I will post on the thread during my breaks.
This is going to be one looooooong day at work.

Aww, that's awesome! :) I hate to tell you this, but they take their sweet time hatching. Mine pipped Friday and hatched on Sunday only. How many eggs have you set and what breed?

We put a few in the incubator but only 1 ended up starting to grow. The female is a pekin duck and the male is a mallard. A bit more cracking but nothing big yet!

One year, I had a pair of Mallard ducks. The neighbor's Pekin drake came visiting. Those 2 hens sat a nest together that had ? 27 eggs in it. They hatched 24 babies. Black and white pinto color in the down stage.
