About the black bean chocolate cake...is that two cups *dry* beans?

That's a lot of beans :p

Since it says you can substitute canned beans, I was confused. Two cups soaked, two cups dry?

Should be two cups soaked and re hydrated beans....a can is 15 oz I believe, just a hair under two cups :)

Naturally as soon as I posted this, I saw the recipe detail bit about how one can beans can be used instead of soaked dry ones.
Must have read that page 50 times, and NOW I see it...:rolleyes:

I knew the beans had to be cooked! :he

I just didn't know if it meant to soak and prepare 2 cups dry beans, or use two cups soaked and prepared beans. Two very different quantities. :p
