I will probably be jumped on for this... but, originally... horses were domesticated for meat.

You won't get jumped on by me. I am in favor of horse slaughter, done here in the USA, instead of long crowded rides to Mexico and Canada. It hasn't stopped, it just moved.

You can eat any part of a mammal except the liver of a polar bear .... It is very high in either vitamin A or E ... I forget which, but it will kill you.

Is that only polar bear, bear? Never gonna try one but, a wild thing to know.

Had to Google that real fast...it's A and due to a system of high fish and seal consumption. Can cause death but, nausea, hair loss, etc. Seems seal, walrus, elk or moose...has some liver issue, too. A is not water sol, so hard to excrete.

Weren't on my grocery list anyway.

Liver is not on my list of edibles. So I reckon I’m safe from polar bear liver. LOL

Interesting little fact. I like liver, but doubt polar bear liver is something I will ever have to deal with.
