I've had three people approach me at work who heard I sell "really good eggs". I'm hard pressed to keep up with demand. I should start looking to add some more! I just want to get in my garden already!

My spring is much further away then everyone else's on here
Breakup begins in April. Planting in late May, and Lilacs bloom in June!

Had two of the kids visiting my mom today, long story short,
I'm getting my late grandma's recipe collection:

peanut brittle,
about 8 different pickle recipes,
Christmas candies,
homemade salad dressing,
cakes and cookies, just to name a few.

And most of them are in her own handwriting with little notations about which of her friends the recipe came from. It was like her "Busy Bee" circle was holding court again.

My favorite recipe I looked at today is her peanut brittle recipe that was on a piece of paper that she taped up near the stove where she mixed the ingredients - it has splatter on it and still, after 10 years, smells just like her peanut brittle.
