I'm going to bail for a while. With the kids sick, no one took care of the hens tonight. I want to make sure the girls are all tucked in nice and warm.

We just slice it and egg dip it then cornmeal then deep fry it. Do that with mushrooms, chicken, etc.

We got an inch or so more of snow last night and it's still snowing this morning.

The local roads were actually clear and dry last night.

But, temps are in the high 20's.

Daytime or nighttime? Last night was in the teens, and the night b4 was down to 7. Daytime highs have been getting warmer. We had 2 really cold days (for here), but it is warming up. I can actually see most of my garden.

Near 30 is where we're heading today. We may touch high 40's next week.

My hens are on strike and I bought my seed starting supplies yesterday.

Sooooo ready for spring.
