This is going to be short and sweet, but I wanted to keep all my friends out there who have been rooting for me informed.

Today we FINALLY got Dad into a nursing home ... at least for a month. They are going to do lots of therapy and then maybe he can come home with a in home care nurse.

We have all been through the wringer.

Oh well ... off to work tomorrow. :barnie :th

good job on getting him there! chances are, he may end up qualifying for full time in center care
 
Wow, what a long road that has been. I think having him evaluated and looked over will be good for all of you. Your right I can't imagine why the hospital let hem go in the first place. Both you and your sister deserve a long awaited break.

I hope with the relief of stress you shoulder and had start to mend. Take care of yourself.

Don't push it honey.....you need to rest so you don't make it worse!

I hope you feel better....I'm achy today too...I overdid it with the painting and mopping...I used muscles that I'm not used to using.
 
that definitely will make you feel better! snuggle up and get some rest!

ps i know how frustrating it is to sit when there is so much to do - but you dont want to end up like me and be out of commission for 6 weeks!
