Yes, here, too.

I think tomorrow will be a good day to start on my fancy coop for my Mille Fleurs...the one I bought the red tin roofing materials for a few weeks back...would like to have that one done before DH goes in for surgery...

Time to build a coop with a covered run for my BO's, too, I think. Pocket the BO rooster is driving me nuts!

Well just checking in before I collapse!

Today was my first "day off" on summer vacation.

I started it with laundry at 6 am followed by breakfast with my sister and two of my kids at 8. My college digger boy arrived at 9 am and we (mostly him but I helped a little) proceeded to unload 2 1/2 tons of gravel into my drainage ditch. That took 3 loads to the gravel store in my truck. Plus he hauled a bunch of old wet rotten carpet strips that were once used for mulch (by my garden predecessor) to the dumpster!

The DITCH is DONE!

Then I took him to lunch at our local pig out country cafe. YUM!

When I got home a friend delivered a chair to my house that I bought for my daughter and we visited a while.

Then I did a little more laundry and went to work at job #2 and also bought chicken feed and dog food.

When I got off I delivered the chair to my daughters house and THEN I went to the post office which is open 24 hours and mailed some packages.

Then I shut up chickens and fed dogs. . . and checked email.

Somehow I feel a little tired this evening. Good thing I had the day "off".

Are you back at work today so you can get some rest?

I'm pooped as well.....I've been so behind all week that I think I'm first! 'Night!

Plus I COULD clean the pig sty that I call my house or the chick pen.

I was just cruising through your recent journal posting, and at first glance thought you said you could clean the pig sty (missed the house part) and my first thought: SHE BEAT ME TO PIGS!!
