Farmfresh City Homesteader - the sound of falling oaks.

Your picture of green tomatoes looks my kitchen did last autumn. :D I made a lot of green tomato chutney and still had enough tomatoes to ripen for cooking.

We had a couple really gorgeous days of warm weather (upper 60s) but now we are back to rain and 40s and 50s. Many of the trees here have dropped all their leaves already too.

Hope you feel better soon!

WOW!!!

I have a full windowsill of green romas but nothing like that! Every once in a while I hear a couple of thunks in the sink and I'll go in and see how bad the tomato avalanche was

We are getting drizzle here....just the kind of weather that makes one feel achy all over. BLAH. I hope you guys feel better, that soup sounds wonderful!

Good grief, what a load of green tomatoes!!

Makes me wish I had made more green tomato pickles.

what a beautifull picture! I hope you get to feeling better soon. Its the weather I am sure....rainy, drizzle days = yukky, achy bodies. Im just getting over it myself. Today we are cool, but some sunshine...in between the washer, and hanging clothes, I am getting in my sunshine as much as possible!

Okay mine are puny, they are 4 1/2 weeks old and just look so little, they feel like they weigh a pound. Did you feed yours some corn mixed in with the feed?
