Your fishing trip sounds like just what the DR ordered...for me! LOL
You described it so well, I could feel the breeze on my face. Sounds like a wonderful place to unwind. So sorry about the turkeys...I had the same issues here this spring, I was able to get 5 of the raised enough to put out, and something got them one night. Darnit! Now the turkeys are laying again. I think there are 10 eggs in there, I am going out tomorrow to take 8 of the for the bator. I hope I can get at least a few for the freezer.

Beautiful! I can just imagine that sunset and all the sounds and twinkling. Very good description! Those are moments worth savoring.

I took my own 1 hour mini vacation in my backyard yesterday... It helped, a little.
