Farmfresh City Homesteader - the sound of falling oaks.

oooooooh!!! Burrito quilts!!!!

Well, I was thinking of just making it HEAVY. Not weighted. But my mom made me a quilt that just ended up being extremely heavy and I fold it in half and hide under it.

:)

This is going to be black, red, white, and gold. Just blocks lined in gold, basically. And then the fans will be asian fabrics. Some just asian patterns, some with scenes and stuff. It'll be awesome. I want to afford to start it this winter. Embroidery is awesome on my job.

My favorite quilt that my grandma made for me was in the shape of a squirrel. It was big enough to wrap up in or nap under but not a traditional type you would put on a bed. She kept it really simple like an enlarged coloring book sort of drawing and she had part of the tree behind it and it was holding an acorn. I loved that thing to death.

I bet you'll have a blast tonight! The quilt is packed away in a trunk so this weekend or next, whenever I really get around to doing my housecleaning that I've been talking about/procrastinating on, I'll have that opened up and I'll take a couple of pictures for you.

Squirrels are so cute! And they go so well with French fries and ketchup!

Kitty-cat looks up quizzically.
"Don't worry Sweetheart. You're safe." :)
