We have tons of minnows. I put several thousand in when first stocking the pond and they've been successfully reproducing. The bluegills are also very successfully reproducing and the bass love nothing more than to snack on them. When fishing at another place we try to catch small bluegill to use as bait for bass and have been pretty successful with that tactic.
