Busy day trying to get ready for this cold crap that's coming. I was quite ok having a mild winter - didn't need this mess at all!
Filled up all the empty gas cans this morning I now have over 50 gallons of gasoline in case I need to feed the generator. Hope I don't need a drop of it. Unloaded that and headed to the feed store. Got 700 lbs of feed unloaded and put away. Had to shore up a chicken pen. Ungrateful little beasts think it's ok to fly right out of there. Nope! No escapees allowed.
Spent the rest of the day chasing my tail. Too many things! Tomorrow will be more of the same. Thankfully, temps will be in the 60's with only a 30% chance of rain. It'll give me time to finish up the most pressing things. Might even have a half day Saturday before it starts getting really crappy.

Another one of those days! Got a lot done though. I was outside from 7a to 6p...give or take a few minutes for hydration and nourishment. Important stuff, lol. Still have a few things to do tomorrow. Also going to get all the laundry done, change the bedsheets and take a last minute shower! Don't wanna be gross if we don't' get a good shower for a couple days. We've got plenty of moist wipes to keep us fresh and clean if need be.
I'll definitely bake those brownies tomorrow too. Diet be damned! Probably pick up a couple bottles of wine too...can't believe I don't have any in the house. Not going into town so hope the corner Dollar Store has some. Might be less than "fine" wine, but sometimes you just gotta take what you get, lol.

They haven't made it down to us yet. Tomorrow is our lucky day with the rain chance at 100%. Ugh...
