Has anyone heard of using ginger essential oil topically for edema? I saw someone mention fantastic results on social media. The product she liked had mixed reviews. I ordered ginger essential oil to try. What could go wrong?

Never have, but I'd like to know the results. If it works it might be good or DH's lower legs/ankles.

I tried it. I can't say that it helps more than lymphatic drainage massage alone. I didn't attempt any kind of control, and my legs were less swollen than usual to start. I used 6 drops in 1 ounce of grapeseed oil. I liked the scent and it will make me more likely to do lymphatic massage.
