Your table, goats and whole set up look so great. I am sure being able to interact with the goats makes the soap that much more interesting.

So what is the going rate on those silicone molds? My good will has had a couple for ever. A bread mold and a cupcake one. I'm not sure how much they wanted for them. But my goodwill is usually overpriced.

Maybe I should pick them up next time.

Pinkfox - a great tip is to just get out there and try it!

honestly, though, find someone who's done it before. It takes all the pressure off you for the first time and lets you see exactly how it's done. That's what I did and I wasn't at all nervous (ok, maybe a littel!) the first time I did it alone.

Actually, I remember my first time - it was so good I did it again afterwards.... But I digress...



Tanks - I've seen/got silicone molds for $1 and some for $10 (never bought the higher end ones, though, too much money for me!)

I'd say buy that bread one ASAP - if it's a loaf mold it's perfect for making the rectangle bars from.

Too much cuteness! I want goaties. Looks like lots of milk in there.
Chicks are good too, but broodies can do the hard work. So I can just refill the bowls and admire the little ones.

I would if I saw an udder that full here. We are almost finished with the stall so I can get the kids separated and off the tap at night.

I told my dh about your birds in the barn last night. We were sitting in bed with the faint odor of chicken crap wafting by.

He actually said to me "I'm gonna build a big barn when we move and it will definitely have electricity." I don't thin he likes the 25 chickens and 5 turkeys in my laundry room. Which happens to be 5 ft from or bedroom.

I don't blame him!

When we do have to keep chicks inside they're kept in the basement bathroom so the only time you can really smell them is when you go downstairs. But we've finished our basement and half is little g's playroom and the other half is our playroom - so we definitely don't want that stank running around!

That's nice. Is the bottom wire or solid?? How old are your birds?

I am moving mine out this weekend. They will be 2 weeks. I don't care. I am going to tarp my tractor and run an extension cord for the light.

If they can't deal then that's there problem..
