SD - the DiMethox is only for the coccidia. Since 3 or 4 of the 4 samples I brought in had moderate coccidia the vet thought I should treat everyone to nip it in the bud before it got really bad. I'm glad I did, though, because with all this rain we've had their area is really really wet and I can just imagine how the coccidia thingies would thrive right now.
I've been super busy the past few days. I put tile in the milk barn, well not real tile, the $0.88/sq ft peel and press stuff. Looks pretty nice too! And I got free wood chips from a co-worker so I finished mulching all the gardens.
We let the chicks out of their cage today. Big G's idea, not mine. I know they are too small and can fit right through the fence but would he listen....NOOOOOOO. So now I've chased ANOTHER one down for the third time, rescued one from my cat Mo who really wanted a snack and found a ding dang SNAKE in the back field (where I was rescuing chick #3). I've HAD IT.
Here's some pictures of the past few days:
the Spawn of Joey ewwwwww

AFTER THE MULCH:
And...As I was taking pictures of the garden on the side of the house where I had transplanted some irises from the front, I saw it. The Beast lives.
See it?? To the right of the picture? Here, here's a closer upper:
See it now? NO! For Pete's Sake!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! The dang beach rose bush is ALIVE! And it was reborn in another garden!!
I think I need some ultra helpers 'round here to finish this beast once and for all.
