Neighbor had his two bottom mossy hitched up already and came over. He said, where's the garden going? So we paced off a 100x200 and he plowed it up. When he was done he said I could do this all day long :) we have awesome neighbors. I've always wanted a 100' row garden.

I was expecting clay, but nope nice rich and loose black dirt. I was also concerned plowing with a 14" deep mossy bottom that we would turn over rock, but nope again nice and deep top soil.

So who is gonna fine till it? Looks good to start tho!

I know you had a large garden before. Is this similar size? Cause it's huge!

It ain't all that big, only 20,000 sqft - go big or go home :) I'll probably disc it late winter and get my troybuilt tiller going for rows. Chickens and turkeys are getting half of it (100x100) and I'll alternate them every year.

"gift" from the pervious owner. When I was hogging I noticed what looked like a couch in the tall grass and several stumps cut off about 2' high of the ground. I also noticed some burnt wood about the area. So I hogged around that little area.

I've been itching to get back there and see what was going on. But I wanted to wait until the weeds died down some first. So this evening I took the bobcat out there and pulled out a couch and mattress and look at the garbage, what a "gift" they left me. I absolutely can't stand people who are pigs. I mean seriously jackass's, this is why we have a county dump.

i'll walk the area, cut off the stumps at ground level get a burn barrel (55 gallon drum) and a bunch of trash bags, take the big stuff to the dump, recycle the aluminum and get this flipping mess cleaned up. Makes me so angry though... :barnieMy wife has named it "garbage mountain". Did I mention just how angry I am? I got a good mind to take the pervious owner to small claims court but I won't. Sometimes I wished I were meaner than I am but then I wouldn't be me, I guess. At least there's some compensation in aluminum cans.
