So I came home to 3 doz. quarts of tomatoes and 12 qts of frozen corn and an only-slightly messy kitchen. Not bad for a couple of boys that have never done anything like this. If I described the setup he had built with the canner, you would fall over laughing! I kept a straight face and described the proper way to use the jar rack, etc. and went in the bathroom to snicker.
Oh, and they also had fixed supper for me! I think they felt sorry for me, as I had worked 35 hours in two days! :bouquet
