Guess what I got for Christmas!! An Incubator

So for a play by play of my hatch here we are:

I hooked it up at 1:30, temperature went up and down for the next two hours. Then thanks to WBF (;hugs) I got the water in there, and the temp quit fluctuating right at 99.5. It has been like that since 4:00.

So after I opened my incubator, I went to the coop periodically to get eggs, so they wouldnt get cold. I got the most I have gotten in a while today, 12. So we have 12 eggs in my new incubator!

I put them in at 7:00, and am going to check them every 30 minutes until it stops at hopefully 99.5.

The egg turner is working properly, and I have water in the reservoir.

Yaaaayy!! Incubators are so addicting though....Mine is running constantly! Good luck with your 12, hopefully they all hatch out baby girls!!

At 7:30, it was 90'ish degrees, and it boosted it a hair........

The temp stabilized at around 100 last night, and when I got up this morning it was about 100. So we're doing good!!
