1. What state/province/country are you in and what is your climate like?
Central Florida, Volusia County to be exact. Its hot 9 months out of 12 🤣
2. Who or what inspired you to become more self sufficient?
My husband has always been interested in prepping and learning to be more self sufficient.
3. In what ways are you self sufficient now and in what ways would you like to learn more?
I have successfully had a vegetable garden for a few months now and most plants are still alive. I raise my own chickens.
4. Are you interested in stocking up for future needs?
As long as it’s free or on sale 😂🤣😂🤣
5. Do you make crafts or useful items? Would you want to teach others how to do these?
Not yet but learning
6. Can you legally keep livestock where you are at? Do you have any? What kinds?
I have 6 laying hens and my neighbors adore fresh eggs, however it’s against city BS.
7. Do you like to garden? If so, what do you enjoy growing?
I love gardening, I am working on getting better at it so I can actually eat something I grew.
8. Do you fish? Bait or explosives?
Love fishing
9. How much space/land do you have or rent? City? Country?
A quarter of an acre 🥺.
10. What is your self sufficient specialty? Or what one would you like to learn?
Anything and everything that allows me to feed and keep my family safe.
11. Do you do wood work? Framing, finish, cabinet?
No
12. Are you interested in herbal medicine?
Yes a little.
13. If you could live any place you chose, where would it be?
In the mountains with a farm.
14. Do you use a wood stove for heating or cooking?
No
15. Do you like to cook? Are you interested in whole foods and natural foods? Raw milk? Farm fresh eggs?
Yes to all. I have my own chickens.
16. Do you forage or hunt for part of your food needs?
No, but I was raised that way.

Work hard and Good at researching subjects
18. Do you have solar panels? Plans to use solar energy?
No
19. Have you ever lived completely off grid? Would you like to?
No.

Sometimes but finding time is hard.
