I googled it, and this is what I came up with..

8 quarts = 1 peck (pk) = 537.605 cubic inches = 16 pints
4 pecks = 1 bushel (bu) = 2150.42 cubic inches = 32 quarts

wow, a peck. That's not something I hear often.

A half pound of butter is 2 sticks.

One stick of butter is 1/4 pound, or 8 TB or 4 oz. but you probably have to convert those measurements too! That link above is perfect. I had to figure it out when I started buying butter in 1 lb. bricks that weren't divided up into sticks with little guidelines on the wrapping paper.

When I think of pecks, I think of Peter Piper. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
