Hmmm, my house is shaking, the windows rattling, dogs wimpering, cats hiding, leaves whorling past the window....
Tornado? Nah, DH just got the hovercraft running!

THanks FF! Those are my ducks' eggs. I tried coloring them last year and was thrilled with the way they took the dye!
No, Indy is not the least bit thrilled with his new fashion. He removed it somehow while we were at church. sigh.... I had to tighten it. I'm sure he's going to keep us up all night banging it around. I have to be up at 6 to get ready for church, make breakfast, milk the goat and do a few small Easter Bunnyish type things, like hide all those dang eggs. I'd do some tonight but I want to hide them outside and it's raining a bit. Phooey! I also have a bag of fruit juice sweetened jelly beans that I can't find anywhere. DS is not really sure about this whole Easter Bunny thing. I thought we were beyond it all but he decided at the last minute at Christmas time that his friends who told him there was no Santa were wrong! Not what I needed to hear on December 23!! So there must be an Easter basket with a few things in it.

I wasn't ever told about Santa or the Easter Bunny lol. Saved my parents from getting up so early. We kids were the master egg hiders though. We'd bury them in plants and carefully balance them up in the window curtains LOL.

That does make it easier! I had fun hiding the eggs early this morning. I finished just as DS woke up. He wants to rehide them all for his grandparents to find. He has a homework assignment to finish, a poster about England. He is almost done. He decided to add some odd facts that he found, such as: There are more chickens in England than people! That's my boy!
He made his debut as an acolyte at church this morning. (think altar boy). He did a great job considering it is one of the longest services of the year and it was ridiculously warm in church this morning and we were in two extra layers of robes. We got the special job of "flowering the cross", helping people attach carnations to the wooden cross. I'll have to see if the guy who took pictures will email me some. I was acolyting too so I could exactly snap pictures myself!
The sun is shinging, dinner is cooking, I've got some seeds to start.
Back to school tomorrow. Busy day, with Cub Scouts and baseball practice in the in the evening.

Um, yum! Dinner was soooo good! Ham, broccoli with homemade Hollandaise sauce, sweet potatoes (for the carb eaters) GF scones, and an almond flour chocolate cake. I'm sooooooooooooooo sleepy!

DS was particularly proud of that one. We just dribbled a little food coloring right on the egg before soaking it in blue.
Back to school. It hurt when the alarm went off at 5:00. Ick.
