Seems to be. I will get a report later today. Andhopefully the okay to pick him up tomorrow!
I'm off to distract myself at the wool festival for a bit. DS has baseball activities all day but we've cut all but the team photo from the adgenda. He is suffering from tree pollen allergies and I'm trying to keep them from getting any worse!
 
Wish I knew for sure. Have yet to hear from the vet today. I can't remember when he said he'd call and they are technically closed at this point. I've left messages on both the clinic voice mail and his cell phone just looking for an update. Very frustrating. If anything was going wrong I'm sure he would have called. But the no news is good news thing just isn't working for me at this point. I swear if he doesn't call by the time I'm ready to go to bed tonight I'm calling his house!
The sheep and wool festival was fun and a good distraction. I ran into several friends. I only bought a few skeins of yarn and managed not to sneak an angora bunny home in my basket. It was very tempting!
 
Finally! The vet just called. Sounds like it's been a busy day there. He says Indy is continuing to improve slowly. He has switched him from IV to oral antibiotics. He flushed and drained everything again today. There was some minimal swelling, some dripping. He is hoping he can come home tomorrow night but will keep him until Monday if he's not 100% sure he's ready to send him home then. As hard as that is, it's better that he's there. I feel a mental health day off coming on soon! Holy cow!

Glad to hear he's doing ok and prayers said that he continues to improve so he can come home healthy soon!

Ooo, I should probably change that! No, just me getting myself worked up because the vet didn't call all day to let me know how Indy was doing today. 26 hours with no update was more than I could handle. Once I was done being busy I sorta melted down. It wasn't pretty.
 
:hugs I'm glad Indy is okay! Geez, you seem stressed. Sounds like you need a nice hot bath.
 
Oh, wouldn't that be nice. I wish I had a tub deep enough. I'm going to make do with a trip to the nursery to look at plants. :cool:
