Do you remember when we had all those cub scouts over a couple years ago to build their cars? It was crazy here. They were supposed to come in shifts with their parents to build their cars. They all ended up being here at once. And one lady dropped off her kids and left. :barnie

Do you guys use one of those big fancy tracks with lots of lanes and the timer and lights? My dh use graphite on his wheels to make it go faster. :gig

I have to say it was fun.

I should get my son back into scouts. he doesn't go any more.

Oh yes, we have all the bells as whistles. And yes I remember. That's why I didn't invite my guys over here!! A couple of the leaders brought in big electric scary saws from home on night and helped some of the kids cut their cars.
Should be fun tomorrow but I can't quite wrap my head around what day it is anymore. We seem to work a couple days and have a snow day then work another and it's the weekend. My routines are all whacky. I'll be glad to see this winter end as pretty as it is!

So how long do you think it's going to take that big pile of snow to melt off your garden spot?

I can imagine you would get all confused having so much time off. I like routine!!

Well, it is southern exposure, so not too bad. Definitely in time to plant. But we'll have snow around till April at least this year!

hee hee. I haven't even STARTED sock stuff. I just bought everything for summer clothing >.>

So once that is done I'll work on socks. I'll be taking the bus to and from work as CNA so I will hopefully get lots of knitting time in. Although.... I know from experience with my scarf that I forget where I am and start knitting the other way on the wrong needle >.>

Snow till April?! :ep

Yikes! The pics are always great though :)

I am starting to get the gardening bug....it always grabs me this time if year but the last three springs I have not had a garden. I half heartedly tried containers, but it gets so warm and dry here with NO summer rain it is hard to maintain. boo

My sock was a mess because I'd set it aside for so long. TG for expert knitter friends!!
Socks are great summer knitting projects because you don't have a lap full of hot wool!!
Can't wait to start my seeds!!!
That is DH standing on the garage roof. The garden is right under there. You can see my shade issue though. All those trees are on the neighbor's property! :duc

Those look like some big trees! They are right next to your garden?

That makes things challenging!
That it does. I plant the side furthest from the trees but really don't get enough sun. We'll prune some of our trees this year and use a new spot in the center of the backyard, but I need more space and will try to get some things to grow behind the garage still.
Off to the grocery store for curry ingredients for tonight. I think it's a sushi lunch day!!
